Enhancing User Experience for Household Expenditure Survey 2028 Online Portal The Household Expenditure Survey (HES) is a national survey that collects detailed information on household expenditure to support the compilation of the Consumer Price Index as well as income and expenditure studies. As part of preparations for HES 2028, the Department is enhancing its online data collection portal to improve user experience. Responsibilities - The intern will assist in preparing test scripts, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), documenting findings, and supporting improvements to the portal, while gaining hands-on experience in digital service development. The intern will also assist in automation efforts to streamline survey processes using AI and automation. - Acquire knowledge of the HES and its data collection methodologies. - Support the testing and refinement of the HES 2028 online submission portal by preparing test scenarios, executing user acceptance testing (UAT), documenting findings, and recommending improvements to enhance user experience. - Automate survey processes via bots or python scripts Requirements Good analytical and communication skills Knowledge or experience in computer science, artificial intelligence, information systems, statistics, data science, data analytics, or related quantitative areas. Diploma students are also welcome to apply. Internship Period: 6 months, from Jan to Jun 2027 (flexible start and end dates) Part-time option available: Minimum commitment of 3 days per week
