Responsibilities You will support Deputy Director, Planning and Capability Development in executing Active Health's planning and budgeting cycles, milestone projects, and collaborations with key industry and healthcare partners. You will support capability development initiatives including the upskilling of industry/community partners and practitioners, and leveraging technology to improve and scale operations. You will coordinate cross-functional delivery, analyses data and research insights to inform recommendations, and helps strengthen Active Health's footprint through sport and exercise science in community spaces. Roles & Responsibilities : 1. Strategic Planning & Workplan Alignment and Execution • Execute Active Health's strategic planning processes and work streams, including providing inputs and garnering insights from observing ground operations and stakeholders’ engagement • Support collaboration with internal teams and to align strategic intent and operational excellence. • Provide secretariat support in relevant steering committees and workgroups. • Monitor latest developments in exercise science and population health for strategy development and adjustment. • Support strengths/gaps analysis and translate findings into practical recommendations. 2. Milestone delivery & Cross-functional collaboration and execution • Coordinate assigned milestone projects and cross-functional workstreams. • Support progress monitoring and regular KPI reporting to senior management and relevant stakeholders and funders. • Oversee budget utilisation and resource allocation in close collaboration with finance and strategy teams. • Support strategic communications planning with the Strategic Communications and Engagement team on media-related features and enquiries on Active Health 3. Partner Relationships & Collaboration • Support day-to-day engagement with healthcare, industry and community and other stakeholders. • Track commitments, meeting outcomes and follow-up actions. • Oversee and ensure delivery of MOU commitments with assigned Active Health partners and explore strategic partnerships. • Position Active Health as a credible, evidence-based partner in the ecosystem. 4. Capability development & Scaling efforts • Support the assessment of the industry landscape and identification of capability development needs in relation to Active Health. • Assist in designing upskilling pathways for industry/community partners and practitioners. • Coordinate and support the implementation of industry capability development plans in close collaboration with the Active Health Programme Design and Development Teams. • Support the design, documentation, and governance processes for the Active Health certification (or equivalent) framework and pathway. 5. Support technology-enabled innovation and solutions • Support partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance business plans and solutions, and coordinate proof-of-concept projects for digital or smart innovation initiatives. • Coordinate and support the pilot implementation of new technology and operational scaling solutions with internal teams, such as self-guided assessment kiosks and AI-enabled health coaching, and monitor outcomes to inform future scaling. 6. Analyse data, prepare dashboards and surface insights • Support research initiatives by conducting literature reviews, environmental scans, and data analysis. • Develop and maintain dashboards, prepare insights presentations, and support programme evaluation and outcomes tracking. • Support the pilot and implementation of analytical tools and emerging capabilities to enhance operational effectiveness and inform evidence-based decision-making. 7. Support footprint expansion in community spaces • Support the expansion of Active Health's footprint through the implementation of sport and exercise science initiatives in community spaces. • Support the development, implementation and day-to-day management of Active Health Fitness Trails and Sports-in-Precinct spaces, and contribute to the development of best practice and design guidelines to enable programme scaling. • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of programmes within Active Health Fitness Trails and Sports-in-Precinct spaces, and monitor implementation progress. • Support the identification and assessment of new community spaces and partnership opportunities to extend Active Health's out-of-lab reach. Requirements We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • At least 8 years of proven experience and/or track record in relevant areas, e.g. Sport Science Management, Business Management, Humanities and Social Sciences, Project Management, Stakeholder Management • Strong familiarity with strategic planning and budgeting cycles • Good project management, cross-functional workstreams coordination and stakeholder engagement skills • Prior experience with healthcare sector knowledge and partnership management experience • Knowledge and experience in data analytics, programme evaluation, and research design • Comfortable with handling numbers and dashboards for reporting • Experience in supporting and delivering capability-development (manpower and technology-based) initiatives • Experience leading a small team, functional workstream or project taskforce The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records.
