Responsibilities The incumbent will support Deputy Director, Planning & Capability Development in formulating strategic plans aligned to SportSG Vision 2030 and oversee Active Health's planning, budgeting and milestone projects. He/She will drive capability development including upskilling of industry/community partners and practitioners, leverage technology to scale operations, lead data analysis and research monitoring to recommend strategic shifts, and oversee stakeholder relations to strengthen Active Health's footprint through sport and exercise science design in community spaces. Roles & Responsibilities : 1. Strategic Planning & Workplan Alignment and Execution • Shape Active Health's strategic planning processes and annual workplan, drive inputs from ground operations and cross-team/divisional insights. • Lead strengths/gaps analysis across Singapore's health ecosystem. • Translate strategic intent into priorities, budgets and KPI targets. • Align internal teams and core narrative owners on strategic intent and operational excellence 2. Milestone delivery & Cross-functional collaboration and execution • Oversee milestone projects and key workstreams across Active Health. • Lead progress monitoring and regular KPI reporting to senior management and relevant stakeholders and funders. • Lead cross-functional teams to drive alignment of processes to enable effective operationalisation, impact tracking of work streams progress and risks, and achievement of agreed milestones. • Oversee budget utilisation and resource allocation in close collaboration with finance and strategy teams. • Support strategic communications planning with the Strategic Communications and Engagement team on media-related features and enquiries on Active Health. 3. Strategic Partnerships • Lead and manage partnerships with MOH, Regional Health Systems, academia and key sector stakeholders, positioning Active Health at the forefront of national initiatives and support overall programme portfolio in service of other WOG/sectoral needs. • Oversee and ensure delivery of MOU commitments with Active Health partners and explore strategic partnerships. • Position Active Health as a credible, evidence-based partner in the ecosystem. 4. Capability development for industry and community partners/practitioners • Lead the assessment of the industry landscape and identification of capability development needs in relation to Active Health. • Design upskilling pathways for industry/community partners and practitioners, community stakeholders and volunteer groups. • Oversee implementation of industry capability development plans in close collaboration with the Active Health Programme Design and Development Teams. • Lead the design and governance of the Active Health certification (or equivalent) framework and pathway 5. Technology-enabled innovation and solutions • Drive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance business plans and solutions, overseeing proof-of-concept projects for recommended digital or smart innovation initiatives. • Partner with internal teams to lead the pilot of new technology and operational scaling solutions 6. Research, analytics and evidence-based innovation • Drive research initiatives that support Active Health strategy and capability priorities. • Oversee dashboards, insights presentations and outcomes tracking. • Prototype analytical tools and new capabilities to support decision-making. 7. Community footprint and programme reach • Strengthen Active Health's footprint through sport and exercise science design in community spaces. • Lead the development and management of Active Health Fitness Trails and Sports-in-Precinct spaces, including establishing best practice and design guidelines to support scaling of programming. • Drive engagement with internal and external stakeholders to bring programming into Active Health Fitness Trails and Sports-in-Precinct spaces. • Identify new community spaces and partnerships to extend Active Health's out-of-lab reach. Requirements We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and budgeting cycles, cross-functional stakeholder management and project management. • At least 4 years of supervisory experience leading cross-functional teams, project teams or taskforces • Strong familiarity with healthcare sector knowledge and partnership management experience • Proficiency in data analytics, programme evaluation, and research design • Experience in developing and delivering capability-building (manpower and technology-based) initiatives The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
