Beyond having strong educational and industry understanding, the appointee must possess a passion for lifelong learning, workforce upskilling and industry collaboration. The role involves leading Continuing Education & Training (CET) initiatives within the School of Computing, strengthening partnerships with employers and agencies. Successful candidates are expected to be resourceful, collaborative and forward-looking, with strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and project delivery skills. Responsibilities Continuing Education & Training Leadership and Industry Engagement The appointee will lead and coordinate CET initiatives within the School of Computing, working closely with academic teams, PACE, industry partners, alumni and external agencies to develop relevant programmes, strengthen learner outreach and support Singapore’s continuing education and workforce transformation needs. Responsibilities: • Lead and oversee CET functional areas within the School of Computing, including CET planning, programme operations and achievement of school-level CET targets. • Drive the development, launch and continuous review of market-responsive CET programmes, including part-time diplomas, specialist diplomas, Work-Study Programmes, SCTP, short courses and modular training. • Strengthen industry engagement, plan & execute outreach initiatives and key account management by identifying collaboration opportunities and maintaining effective relationships with industry partners. • Contribute to school-level strategic initiatives, including alumni collaboration, industry projects, staff capability development and the growth of new computing-related CET domains. Requirements Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in continuing education and training, adult learning, programme management, industry engagement, business development, academic administration or related areas. • Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders and deliver outcomes within agreed timelines. • Self-driven, resourceful and able to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders. • Knowledge of IT, computing or digital transformation areas such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, software development, cloud, cybersecurity, automation or low-code platforms would be a plus. • Preferably able to develop content and curriculum in emerging AI areas. • Relevant qualification in Computing, Information Technology, Education, Business, Management or related disciplines. Postgraduate qualifications, adult education credentials or relevant professional certifications would be an added advantage. Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
