Manager/ Senior Manager (SPED Sector Development)

As a Manager/ Senior Manager, SPED Admissions in the Special Educational Needs Division, you will be part of a team responsible for managing admissions operations and processing for children seeking placement in Special Education (SPED) schools. You will work closely with SPED schools, families, allied health professionals and other divisions within MOE to ensure smooth and timely admissions placement outcomes. Responsibilities • Manage the end-to-end SPED admissions cycle to ensure timely and accurate placement outcomes and develop and maintain SOP to support consistent admissions operations • Coordinate with SPED schools and MOE HQ divisions to manage placement capacity, resolve operational issues, and support the review and implementation of policy and/ or process changes • Serve as a key point of contact for admissions-related matters and facilitate timely referrals/ transitions into SPED schools • Maintain and analyse admissions data to support reporting, resource planning and process improvements • Provide secretariat support for admissions-related meetings and working groups Requirements • Good communication and writing skills, with the ability to engage clearly and sensitively with diverse stakeholders • Meticulous and organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workflows concurrently • Ability to identify operational gaps, troubleshoot issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them effectively • Working knowledge of data management tools and ability to produce clear reports would be an advantage • Proactive and resourceful team player who is able to work well independently when needed As part of the processing of your application, you may be required to undergo a medical examination that will be fully paid by MOE.
