Creation of Data Mart Portal The intern will be involved in the development of a user-friendly data mart portal enabling users to browse, select, and “cart out” datasets from a data mart, while guiding them through structured input forms to provide the necessary information required for data requests. The system will incorporate workflow capabilities to route requests to the appropriate approvers, enabling them to review and approve submissions directly within the portal, while allowing users to track the status of their requests (e.g., pending, approved, rejected). Responsibilities - Develop a functional prototype (or production-ready version) of a data mart portal - Design and implement an intuitive UI for dataset browsing and request submission - Build workflow functionality to route requests to approvers and track approval status Requirements - Knowledge or experience in computer science, information systems, software engineering, UI/UX design, or full-stack development. - Basic to intermediate experience in full-stack development - Knowledge of UI/UX design principles - Familiarity with workflow logic, or backend services for request routing and approvals - Knowledge of data virtualisation software (e.g., Denodo Platform) is a plus - Ability to work independently Internship Period: 6 months, from Jan to Jun 2027 (flexible start and end dates) Part-time option available: Minimum commitment of 3 days per week
