Development of Data Querying Platform This project focuses on the full-stack development of a data querying platform with a strong focus on statistical control disclosure, where government officers can self-generate customised statistical tables through a user-friendly interface. It includes implementing frontend user interface features, backend services and integration with database and application components. System testing, debugging and documentation are also included in the scope to support a reliable and scalable platform. Responsibilities - Development of frontend user interface modules for the data querying platform, supporting point-and-click query building and customised statistical table generation - Implementation of backend services and API endpoints integrated with database and application components - Design and containerisation of the development and production environments to support consistent and reproducible builds - Conduct of comprehensive system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure platform reliability and correctness - Creation of technical documentation and source code for all developed components to facilitate onboarding and future maintenance Requirements - Knowledge or experience in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, full-stack development, or web application development. - Proficient in Python and web frameworks such as Flask for building backend services, APIs, and database integration - Well-versed in using Docker for containerising, deploying, and managing applications across development and production environments - Competent in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with experience in React or Vue for developing responsive and interactive web interfaces - Experience with MCP, LLM integration is an advantage - Familiarity with software testing methodologies and test case design is preferred Internship Period: 6 months, from Jan to Jun 2027 (flexible start and end dates) Part-time option available: Minimum commitment of 3 days per week
