Manager (Physical Security Technology)

You will work with MINDEF/SAF stakeholders to understand their security needs and recommend suitable solutions to solve their problems. You are expected to keep abreast of the latest security technologies, and identify, test and evaluate potential products/technologies that are suitable for MINDEF/SAF. Responsibilities You will conduct proof of concept (to validate new technology) and concept of operations before introducing them to users in MINDEF/SAF. You will manage the product pre-qualification process to assess vulnerability in security products and approve those that meet security requirements. To support your test and evaluation work, you will liaise with industry leaders, vendors and security agencies (locally and overseas) to leverage on their capabilities and knowledge. Your challenge lies in keeping up with technology developments and building competencies to evaluate new technologies where we have no prior knowledge in. Requirements You must have a tertiary education, and have an interest in security innovations. You should possess strong analytical, communication and writing skills.
