Step 2 · The role
As part of the academic team in the Diploma in Human Resources with Psychology (DHRMP), you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of HR and career counselling professionals through applied learning and industry engagement. Responsibilities • Facilitate learning for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education & Training (CET) learners through interactive seminar, workshop, coaching, and experiential learning activities. • Design, review and deliver industry-relevant curriculum in areas such as: Full HR functions - HR Analytics & HR Technology (AI) - Strategic and Operational HR Functions - Industrial & Organisational Psychology - Positive Psychology - Psychometric Assessment - Socio-emotional Counselling • Lead and supervise student-industry collaboration projects, applying real-world HR practices to authentic workplace challenges. • Partner with industry stakeholders to develop consultancy, applied research, and capability development projects. • Build and maintain strong industry networks to create meaningful opportunities for students, including mentorships, industry projects, internships, and award sponsorships. • Mentor and guide students in their academic, professional, and personal development journey. This role is well-suited for experienced HR, career counselling, psychology, or organisational development professionals who are keen to leverage their industry expertise to develop future HR leaders, and make a meaningful impact through education. Requirements • Relevant qualifications in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Career Counselling, Organisational Development, or related disciplines. • Professional accreditation and/or membership with recognised bodies would be advantageous, not limiting to: - NCDA credentials - IHRP certification • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in HR, career counselling, psychology, organisational development, or related fields. • Strong industry networks and the ability to engage organisations on applied projects, collaborations, and talent development initiatives. • Passionate about developing people and nurturing future-ready professionals. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives effectively.
