MANAGER / DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, REGULATORY POLICY Responsibilities The Active Mobility Group develops, promotes and regulates the use of active mobility (cycling, riding personal mobility devices, using personal mobility aids, and walking) as a key strategy in LTA’s Walk Cycle Ride vision. This includes overseeing the full value chain of activities from conceptualisation and planning to regulation and communications. There are 5 main aspects of the Group’s work on Active Mobility: i. Planning ii. Infrastructure Design iii. Promotion and Engagement iv. Regulatory Policy v. Device Sharing Under the Regulatory Policy division, the officer will conceptualise, develop and review regulatory strategies and policies for active mobility devices under the Active Mobility Act. This includes establishing rules and code of conduct that promote both safety and gracious behaviour amongst active mobility users and other public path users. Core duties include reviewing existing active mobility policies, developing innovative policy solutions to address emerging challenges, and crafting enforcement frameworks supported by robust legislation. The role requires translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, implementable policies that balance public safety with accessibility and convenience. The officer will also serve as a key liaison, coordinating closely with diverse stakeholders including government agencies, retailers, community organisations and path users. Requirements • Knowledge in any discipline • At least 3 years of relevant working experience preferably in regulation and policy work • Highly adaptable, able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment • Good analytical, written and communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
