Research and AnalysisPolicy & Planningcontractmanager

The Strategy, International & Research (SIR) Directorate oversees and drives MSF’s strategic planning, transformation, international engagement, as well as research and analytics efforts to achieve MSF’s strategic outcomes. The Research and Analytics Division (RA) drives MSF’s research and analytics efforts, to strengthen the nexus between policy, practice, operations and research and analytics to support MSF outcomes, policies and programmes. Our work entails coordinating the social research agenda, conducting research and data analytics studies, and building research expertise for MSF. As a Senior Manager/Manager, you will be involved in coordinating and conducting research and data analysis to inform MSF’s policymaking and service delivery. Responsibilities • Assist to develop the social research agenda within MSF to support policymaking and programmes • Conduct quantitative research and analysis and distil useful key insights for policymakers • Conduct ops analytics (e.g., predictive analytics) for ops decision-making • Manage research projects’ key deliverables and timelines • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., academics, consultants and research companies) on selected projects Requirements Requirements • Strong in quantitative methods and application, and proficient in at least one statistical/ data analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, STATA) • Strong analytical, communications and project management skills • Appreciation of social policies would be an advantage Work Culture/ Environment • Opportunities for professional training and development • Working arrangement that allows for 2 days work-from-home per week • Dynamic and collaborative culture Only shortlisted candidates will be notified within 4 weeks from the closing date of this position.
