Step 2 · The role

As a Student Guidance Officer (SGO) in the Student Services Department, you will maintain student discipline as well as provide support for administrative work. Responsibilities As part of the team, you will be involved in the following areas of work: · Campus Safety and Environment – Support to keep a safe, orderly, and conducive campus environment including conducting patrols; · Preventive Education and Programmes – Conduct disciplinary talks and programmes to promote responsible behaviour and informed decision-making · Student Case Management – Manage disciplinary and appeal cases, including investigations, documentation, and follow-up actions in accordance with organisational policies; · Student Support – Provide support to students with behavioural issues through mentoring and targeted interventions. · Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on crime prevention efforts; · Programme Support – Support student development initiatives (e.g. learning journeys, enrichment activities, and overseas programmes) as required; and · Other Duties – Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • At least 3 years of relevant work experience. • Prior experience in enforcement agencies would be an advantage though not essential. • Proven organisational and communication skills.
