Step 2 · The role

Social and Community DevelopmentCommunity Development, Partnership & Engtemporarymid

This role focuses on generating and converting leads from cold calls into actual visits, contributing directly to Sentosa's footfall targets. Groups would include community groups from e.g. People’s Association (PA), Active Ageing Centres (AACs) and organized groups e.g. interest groups. Responsibilities Lead generation and Conversion • Conduct systematic cold calling, emailing and direct outreach to community groups and organized groups across Singapore to promote Sentosa’s offerings and experiences. • Develop clear, professional and persuasive presentation materials. Present to community / organized groups. • Understand each group’s requirements, interests, budget etc and recommend suitable Sentosa offerings and experiences based on the group’s profile and objectives. • Follow up actively with prospects and convert leads into confirmed bookings / visitation. Lead generation and Reporting • Create and manage a structured database of contacts and track engagement. • Record all calls, meetings, presentations, follow-ups and booking outcomes accurately. • Identify reasons for unsuccessful conversions and recommend improvements. Create targeted experiences aligned with group interest • Work with internal stakeholders to develop customised experiences / programmes aligned with group interests e.g. photography walks, nature trails, fitness activities etc. Administrative matters • Coordinate with programme providers including booking, actual attendance and itineraries. • Assist with operational and programme-related duties when required. Requirements • Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Fresh Graduate is welcome to apply. • A team player who is confident with cold calling, generating new leads, handling rejections, following up consistently on enquiries and closing sales. • Confident and effective presentation skills. • Strong written and communication skills • Resourceful, proactive and ability to work independently. • Good command of language(s) relevant to target audience. • Knowledge of Singapore’s community groups and grassroot organisations will be an advantage • Computer Literacy including Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Excel and graphic design platform such as Canva.
