Principal/Senior Manager/Manager/Assistant Manager, Compliance Group, WPD

As a Principal Manager /Senior Manager/Manager in the Compliance Group, you will be responsible for planning, development and implementation of compliance controls to effectively and efficiently safeguard the integrity of the work pass framework. The key responsibilities include developing and operationalising strategies and plans to detect, deter and prevent fraud and circumvention of regulations and controls in the work pass systems. Responsibilities • Develop compliance strategies, measures and workflows to understand and identify fraudulent manpower practices, emerging risks and vulnerabilities in the work pass framework to ensure policy and business outcomes are effectively met • Collaborate with policy and operations teams in MOM and other government agencies to understand work pass hiring practices of businesses, and analyse impact and trade-offs of interventions against fraud attempts to circumvent the work pass system • Propose and implement agile and robust measures to address identified gaps and risks to ensure continued relevancy and effectiveness of policies and processes Requirements • At least 2 years of working experience is preferred although candidates with no prior working experience are welcome to apply • Experience or knowledge in compliance work would be advantageous • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Have good verbal and written communication skills • Good team player with a customer-focused mindset • Be able to work independently and adapt to complex changes • Proficiency in data analysis and digital tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel, automation tools or AI-enabled solutions) would be an advantage. *PWDs are welcome to apply
