Assistant Director (Industrial Security Research)

You will lead a team responsible for safeguarding MINDEF/SAF from potential security risks and compromises. Responsibilities You and your team will be responsible for identifying and managing risks that could compromise MINDEF/SAF. This means developing security frameworks, conducting risk assessments and providing risk mitigation measures to stakeholders within the defence ecosystem. You will also lead efforts in building security awareness through the development of guidance materials, training efforts and working with different entities to embed good security practices into everyday workflows. Requirements We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with the ability to lead a team in a complex organisation. You should have tertiary education, preferably with at least five years of relevant experience in security risk management, intelligence analysis or a related field. Experience in managing a team is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are prerequisites as you will need to translate security concepts for audiences who are not security specialists.
