Step 2 · The role

You will play a critical role in ensuring the security of SID’s personnel, information, and premises, and will oversee the development and implementation of organisational security policies and measures. Responsibilities • Perform security-related research and vulnerability risk assessments • Formulate, review, and implement security policies and measures • Plan, design, develop and implement physical security measures and solutions • Monitor security compliance, enforce security policies and investigate security breaches If you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will need to: • Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team • Design and implement workplace new processes, with future trends and needs in mind • Plan and guide your team’s professional growth, in both general and technical areas • Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders • Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: • Expertise in organisational security design and operations • Acumen and proficiency in policy formulation • Stakeholder management skills Requirements • Roles for fresh graduates and mid-careers available • Inquiring mind, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Ability to see the big picture and also a keen eye for detail • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence • Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
