Our overseas partnerships and networks are crucial in ensuring that SID is able to meet its mission outcomes. You will help SID build and sustain good relations with our overseas partners. Responsibilities • Direct and implement engagement strategies to meet SID’s needs • Analyse and report on geopolitical developments concerning Singapore’s strategic interests • Foster and maintain close networks with SID’s partners • Work closely in a team and with external partners If you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will need to: • Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team • Design and implement new workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind • Plan and guide your team’s professional growth, in both general and technical areas • Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders • Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Unique opportunities to deepen your networking, negotiation, and persuasion techniques • Opportunities to learn foreign languages Requirements • Roles for fresh graduates and mid-careers available • Keen interest in international affairs • Natural flair for engaging people from diverse backgrounds and cultures • Flexible and able to respond quickly in dynamic situations • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to see the big picture and also a keen eye for detail • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence • Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
