You will drive SID’s outcomes by developing good relations with other organisations, government agencies, and think tanks locally and abroad. Responsibilities • Monitor external strategic and security issues that are of interest to Singapore • Strategise, develop, and manage relations with a network of local and international partners • Provide recommendations on policy formulation • Monitor and support officers based overseas If you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will need to: • Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team • Design and implement new workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind • Plan and guide your team’s professional growth, in both general and technical areas • Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders • Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: • Opportunities to hone your networking and planning skills • Acumen and proficiency in formulating policies • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and interpersonal skills Requirements • Roles for fresh graduates and mid-careers available • Strong ability to network, engage, and understand the perspectives and requirements of both internal and external stakeholders • Keen interest in geopolitical or security-related developments • Ability to adapt and think quickly on your feet • Interest in foreign languages • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to see the big picture and also a keen eye for detail • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence • Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
