You will identify the latest cyber threats and opportunities to help safeguard Singapore’s security, and protect SID’s critical infrastructure and communication devices. Responsibilities • Conduct research and make vulnerability assessments, including on secure applications, IT networks and infrastructure, and mobile devices • Track malware and cyber threat actors • Develop new cyber tools to support investigations, threat-detection, and other operational requirements • Design innovative solutions that meet rapidly evolving operational demands If you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will also: • Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team • Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind • Plan and guide your team’s professional growth, in both general and technical areas • Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders • Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: • Unique opportunities to deepen your expertise in various technology tools, techniques, and capabilities • First-hand insights into threat actors • Experience in countering some of the most advanced threats and threat actors Requirements • Roles for fresh graduates and mid-careers available • Programming skills (C, C++, .NET, Python, Assembly, PowerShell) • Keen interest in cybersecurity, technical research, and/or software development • Knowledge in any of the following areas: - OS internals (Windows, Mobile or Linux) and application security - Web/cloud and network security - Cyber systems and networks, digital communication network design, and network protocols - VPN and TOR concepts and technologies - Reverse engineering - Penetration testing skills - Network or host-based intrusion analysis
