We're seeking bold thinkers and passionate collaborators to help transform public service for businesses - come shape the future with us. BizSG is our whole-of-government effort to give businesses a single, intuitive way to find, apply for and manage Government services. We are looking for a Product Designer to shape its direction and work with agencies, designers and engineers to ship things businesses use. Responsibilities • Lead the design of BizSG experiences across web, mobile and other channels, from discovery and concept through to polished, buildable designs. • Conduct user research with businesses and agency officers, such as interviews, usability testing, surveys and contextual inquiry, and turn findings into clear design directions. • Develop Service Blueprints, journey maps and process flows that connect the front-stage experience with back-stage agency workflows, policies and systems. • Work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers in an Agile environment, shaping requirements, prototyping solutions and supporting delivery through to launch. • Facilitate cross-agency workshops and engagements to simplify licence workflows, streamline application forms and align stakeholders on better ways of working. • Review and improve content clarity, information architecture and discoverability, and explore alternative communication formats where they help users. • Contribute to and maintain the design system, patterns and design standards to keep experiences consistent and accessible. • Measure the impact of design changes using usability metrics, analytics and user feedback, and iterate. Requirements Join us if you are excited about improving public service delivery and passionate about helping businesses thrive through better Government services. Must have’s • Degree or Diploma in Human Computer Interactions, Design, Psychology, Computer Sciences or related disciplines. • Work experience (internships included) in Public Service, registering and running business startups, business process re-engineering (e.g. management consulting), software and product design.
