Manager (Operations Capability)

You develop and enhance operational capability in the domain of service delivery for MINDEF/SAF, shaping business continuity planning and crisis preparedness initiatives that maintain essential services during national emergencies. Responsibilities - Define operational roles and identify critical functions and dependencies - Develop practical SOPs and capabilities, and exercise these plans to ensure they work when needed - Coordinate parliamentary duties and responses for Parliamentary Questions (PQ), Committee of Supply (COS) Debate and other Parliamentary sessions and processes for MINDEF/SAF - Manage the MINDEF Intranet business operations and development - Plan and coordinate the National Day Observance Ceremonies (NDOCs) Challenge(s) - Ensuring the availability and relevance of the MINDEF/SAF Intranet systems and processes for service continuity - Coordinating with multiple stakeholders Requirements - At least 3 years of relevant working experience in organisational planning and development, business continuity planning, or resource planning and management is preferred - Experience in operations management, contingency planning, or organisational readiness would be an advantage - Strong planning and coordination skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to communicate clearly across different levels of the organisation - Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders - Ability to think through operational scenarios, identify dependencies, and translate plans into practical actions Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
