HTX is Singapore's Science and Technology agency that brings together diverse scientific and engineering capabilities to develop transformative, operationally ready solutions for public safety. Responsibilities • Identifying, managing, analysing and translating business and financial information for MHA/HTX management on HTX’s overall performance and progress, identify trends/patterns, synergies, priorities and highlight issues and possible mitigating measures. This includes working with the team to manage a data hub to enable automation of data consolidation, analysis and reporting. • Monitor and review programmes/portfolio of projects, paying attention to pipeline and on-going projects, masterplans and KPIs. This includes managing and guiding internal stakeholders’ expectations on capability delivery through frameworks, processes, planning norms and structured engagements. • Work with stakeholders to plan, execute and refine project management and budgetary models, work with MHQ/HTDs to improve operational efficiency through the implementation of best practices and optimisation of available productivity tools. • Secretariat for the HTX’s Project Management Meeting chaired by HTX senior management which oversees S&T projects, discusses mitigating measures and directs project related matters. • Any other assigned duties for divisional/organisational forums. Requirements • Knowledge in budgeting and project management is preferred. • Possess excellent negotiation, writing, communication and presentation skills • Knowledge in using data analytics tools like Tableau, Python etc. • Knowledge in using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Clause and Gemini • Strong analytical capabilities, being able to take in multiple streams of information from diverse stakeholders and apply organisational perspective in digesting and presenting them. • Exercise intellectual flexibility and moving along a wide spectrum of perspectives. Moves easily between taking a broad, strategic perspective, and drilling down to develop a detailed understanding of key issues. • Meticulous, with good organisational skills. • Able to adapt to a dynamic work environment with evolving work scopes. • Generates innovative ideas and solutions to bring about increased effectiveness and efficiency to the organisation. • Relevant experience in the science and technology fields and project management will be advantageous. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
