[LTA-TRO] ENGINEER, TRAFFIC & EVENT PLANNING Responsibilities We are seeking a motivated intern to support extensive traffic junction analysis for operational policy formulation. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to apply data analytics skills to real-world traffic management challenges whilst gaining hands-on experience in intelligent transport systems and traffic operations. Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive traffic junction analysis to support policy development and operational decision-making • Utilise advanced analysis tools including MS Excel, Power BI, Python, and other relevant software to process and interpret traffic data • Propose and develop automation solutions to enhance existing MS Excel-based analysis tools, improving overall productivity and efficiency • Analyse complex traffic datasets to identify patterns, trends, and operational insights • Support the development of data-driven recommendations for traffic management strategies • Collaborate with traffic operations teams to understand real-world operational challenges and constraints Requirements • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly MS Excel, Power BI, and Python • Demonstrated experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualisation • Knowledge of automation techniques and process improvement methodologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical findings clearly As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
