The Senior Public Health Officer/ Public Health Officer will be part of a team supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of communicable disease surveillance programmes. The position contributes to Singapore’s ability to detect, prepare for, and respond to emerging communicable disease threats. You will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that will require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. Responsibilities • Supporting the design, monitoring, and evaluation of disease-agnostic surveillance systems. • Developing and maintaining data collection tools and processes. • Cleaning, managing, and analysing surveillance datasets. • Preparing reports, summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. • Providing inputs to epidemiological investigations • Support training of stakeholders Requirements • Minimally a tertiary education in Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Analytics or related fields prefered. • At least 2 years of relevant experience in public health, epidemiology, or data analysis (experience with surveillance programmes for communicable diseases is an advantage). • Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills. • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
