About Infrastructure Planning Authority Group (IPAG) IPAG aims to drive a coordinated approach through partnerships and to advocate best practices and innovative solutions towards optimised use of space and reap synergies for infrastructure planning in Singapore. Besides this, IPAG is also responsible to coordinate the process for master planning of major network infrastructure across the Infrastructure & Environment (I&E) sector and to appoint Lead Implementing Agencies to coordinate the planning and implementation of multi-agency infrastructure projects. Responsibilities We are looking for experienced infrastructure engineers to join a team which looks into the planning and reviewing of the design of utility infrastructure projects which spans from planning to implementation phases. You will work with internal and external stakeholders in developing and reviewing utility standards, processes and feasibility studies, utility coordination, providing technical design and engineering inputs to optimise underground space and costs for laying of utility infrastructure. You will also develop/review cross agency underground utilities alignment for preliminary and detailed design plans including deconflicting regulatory agency requirements from the planning to implementation phases. Requirements • Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil / structuring engineering - especially in the areas of planning, designing, and project implementation of underground utilities space planning and optimisation • Experience in developing/reviewing underground utilities alignment for preliminary and detailed design plans including deconflicting regulatory agency requirements for clearances • Experience with utility coordination for underground utilities implementation including diversion works • Experience in utility planning and coordination for major infrastructure projects will be advantageous • Ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to work independently and in teams • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Good writing and presentation skills • Ability to explain complex problems simply, concisely and effectively
