Sponsorship Strategy & Planning a. Design the sponsorship framework and tiering structure, including entitlements and exclusivity categories. b. Define and package sponsorship inventory across all Games assets, including branding, broadcast, marketing campaigns and content, community engagement programmes, hospitality and premium experiences. c. Work closely with all Functional Areas (FAs) to consolidate sponsorship needs and value-in-kind (VIK) requirements, ensuring alignment and avoiding duplication or conflicts. 2. Sponsorship Acquisition & Revenue Generation a. Develop and execute a targeted sponsorship acquisition plan, identifying priority sectors (e.g. banking, telco, airlines, FMCG, tech) and key corporate prospects. b. Co-lead end-to-end sales lifecycle with appointed marketing agency, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, contracting and closing of deals. c. Provide regular updates to EXCO/Steering Committee on pipeline status, successful acquisitions and revenue risks/opportunities. 3. Sponsor Servicing & Partnership Management a. Secure regional marketing rights for domestic sponsors in coordination with SEAGF and APGF. b. Develop and implement sponsor servicing plans, including entitlement tracking and delivery timelines. c. Co-manage and maintain strong sponsor relationships through regular engagement, updates and issue resolution with appointed marketing agency. 4. Corporate Hospitality Strategy & Business Model a. Leverage corporate hospitality as a relationship-building and business development platform. b. Develop marketing and sales plans for corporate hospitality offerings. c. Establish booking systems, operational workflows and service standards for hospitality delivery. 5. Fan Zone & Sponsor Activation a. Oversee the planning of sponsor experiences linked to Fan Zones, including hospitality tie-ins, to enhance sponsor visibility. b. Identify and package commercial activation opportunities for sponsors, including booths, showcases, sampling, interactive experiences, branded installations and other experiential elements. c. Support the management of on-site sponsor presence and ensure smooth coordination across all involved functional areas for delivery readiness. Requirements We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile. An ideal candidate should possess: • Related qualification in Business, Marketing or related field • More than 12 years’ experience in leading a team in sponsorship sales, corporate partnerships or commercial roles, preferably in sports, major events, or large-scale national projects. • Experience in designing sponsorship packages, ie. tiering, pricing, rights matrix and category exclusivities for brands. • Proven track record in managing contracts and commercial sector key accounts. • Experience in corporate hospitality, premium client management and experiential marketing. • Familiarity with working in multi-stakeholder environments, including public sector and regional partners. • Experience in securing sponsorships will be advantageous. • Commercially driven and strategic, with a strong results orientation. • Confident negotiator and relationship builder with senior corporate stakeholders. • Ability to demonstrate strong ownership of outcomes, while ensuring timeliness and quality. • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey ideas with clarity and influence. • A team player who is resourceful and meticulous. • Collaborative, supportive team lead who is able to build morale across diverse working teams. All successful candidates will be offered a standard 3- year fixed term contract.
