Assistant Manager, Projects Management Resident Technical Officer / Land Development (Demolition & Reinstatement) Responsibilities • Represents the Employer on construction sites. • Carry out daily inspection of works at all assigned sites • Monitor contractors’ work programme, daily activities, work progress, worksite safety and to ensure the timely completion of works by the contractors. • Review, verify and to ensure that works are carried out in accordance to approved drawings, plans, specifications, method statements, prevailing statutory requirements etc. • Identify and feedback irregularities, potential risks, non-conformances, root causes to the QP/Employer for deliberation. • Monitor the progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are done satisfactorily. • Attend regular meetings and inspection at site with site staffs, contractors and also stakeholders. • Ensure the record of daily site activities are documented, kept in order and submit the reports to the Employer to update on the project progress regularly. Requirements • Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES). • Minimum 3 years of experiences in relevant demolition, excavation, earth works. • Ability to travel to remote sites or have own transport. • Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills in problem solving and adaptability for dynamic site works. • Good written and verbal communications skills in English. • Meticulous, performance-driven and able to work independently and multi-tasking in a large scale work site. • Experience in civil engineering would be beneficial. • Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Autocad.
