Step 2 · The role

Research and AnalysisOrganisational Developmentinternshipintern

CLC is currently in the midst of the Future of Urban Liveability (FUL) study, a planning-related project where CLC is collaborating with the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) on research premised and framed by the urban concept of ’15-Minute Cities’ and its associated tenets, at the town and neighbourhood level. CLC will also be working with relevant agencies like URA, HDB etc to take in their inputs during the duration of the project to ensure that the study findings will be relevant and useful in helping to inform or guide their planning processes. Responsibilities The study will see the interns engaged in the following: (i) Desktop research and analysis, such as on GIS-related datasets and case studies on relevant urban planning concepts (e.g., 15 minute city typologies); (ii) Field research, such as site visits to assess the built-environment and streetscape conditions of shortlisted towns and neighbourhoods; (iii) Planning and execution for inter-agency workshops centred around the research findings, including administrative work like invitations, scheduling, note taking, on-site management of workshop logistics etc. Requirements Good communication and interpersonal skills, as they might be working with other interns. A good and positive work attitude and willingness to embrace new knowledge and sometimes uncertain processes.
