Step 2 · The role
Overall Job Purpose Provide geotechnical engineering services and project management for slope stabilisation initiatives and Greater Sentosa Master Plan (GSMP) development projects, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of major infrastructure works. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on Master Plan development projects from project inception to handover. Responsible for slope stabilisation projects and geotechnical engineering matters related to the Greater Sentosa Master Plan. Responsible for project management and coordination throughout the entire project life-cycle. Provide technical input for geotechnical designs and slope stabilisation analyses. Develop project briefs, requirements, technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts. Identify project interface issues and collaborate with all interfacing parties to develop effective mitigation measures. Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures. Work with the respective project managers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and meet specified quality standards. Facilitate and organise meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners. Conduct regular site visit/inspections and to report on quality and progress. Requirements Job Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with a major in Geotechnical Engineering. Minimum of 12 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years of recognised practical experience in geotechnical engineering including slope stabilisation works. Should have project experience in at least 1 deep underground infrastructure project. Registration as a Specialist Professional Engineer in Geotechnical Engineering would be an advantage. Project Management experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects or infrastructure projects would be advantageous. Posses strong written and communication skill in English.
