MANAGER / DEPUTY MANAGER, LAND Responsibilities • Lead and oversee the end-to-end planning, coordination, and management of land acquisition and securing of land for transport infrastructure projects. • Provide advice and recommendations on land-related matters, including budgeting, cost management, and compliance with regulatory policies and development guidelines, escalating issues and proposing solutions as needed. • Work with government agencies, statutory boards, and key stakeholders to resolve land-related matters, negotiate outcomes, and advance project objectives. • Utilize Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) to manage, analyse, and visualize spatial data related to land and infrastructure assets. • Maintain and update land and geospatial databases, maps, and related documentations. • Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical direction and fostering professional development within the team. Requirements • Knowledge in Real Estate, Land Management, Urban Planning, Geography, Geomatics, or a related discipline. • At least 6 years of relevant experience in land management, land acquisition, or infrastructure planning, with a demonstrated track record of managing projects and leading cross-functional workstreams. Prior experience in infrastructure projects is strongly preferred. • Competency in interpreting spatial data and translating findings into proposals. • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to work with multiple agencies and project teams. • A self-starter who can operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining alignment with organisational goals and senior leadership's direction. As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and /or undergo further assessment.
