[LTA-RAOM] SENIOR / EXECUTIVE / ENGINEER, ASSET MGMT (RENEWAL & PLANNING) Responsibilities You will manage the Rapid Transit Systems (RTS) assets to ensure optimum performance and quality of the asset through comprehensive monitoring the condition, whole system life cycle management in making trade-off decisions to optimize the useful life versus life extension or timely renewal of assets. You will be the LTA’s gate-keeper responsible to maintain and uphold the high reliability and availability of the Singapore MRT / LRT systems. You will work in close collaboration with Public Transport Operators and LTA various divisions such as engineering, project, contracts, programme planning to lead the survey to railway stations/ tunnels, develop the replacement methodology inclusive the associated/ interfacing works required to facilitate the asset renewal works. You will use appropriate asset renewal tools like whole life cycle models to develop long-term asset renewal and replacement plans ensuring timely renewal strategy and a sustainable long-term asset renewal cash flow forecast for the Authority. You will support the development asset replacement plan, manage replacements and ensure sustainability for next 30 years with the following key focuses. (1) Prepare, submit and seek approval on funding for asset replacement projects to ensure timely implementation of the asset replacement and renewal projects (2) Coordinate asset replacement/renewal projects to ensure timely implementation of replacement/renewal projects (3) Develop and manage master asset replacement plan to ensure realistic cash flow and utilization (4) Develop, manage and monitor MYC (multiyear cash flow) submissions (5) Support stakeholder engagement and governance development for asset renewals Requirements • Knowledge in Electrical / Mechanical / Systems / Rail Engineering • Preferably with Relevant railway infra-structure/ Pway/ services/ system knowledge and experience in renewal planning, site coordination & installation works. • Self-motivated and resourceful. Able to work independently, demonstrate professionalism and objectivity in carrying out duties • Possess positive attitude with good communications and interpersonal skills to engage various stakeholders • Candidates with relevant experience will be considered for higher appointments As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
