Law/Legal ServicesLegal & Parliamentaryfull-time

You will be practicing law in the unique field of intelligence, and dealing with governance matters within an intelligence organisation Responsibilities • Advise SID on its legal rights, liabilities, and risks • Advise SID on relevant comparative law • Assess trends in legal issues relevant to an intelligence organisation • Review SID's internal policies and practices • Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team • Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind • Plan and guide your team's professional growth, in both general and technical areas • Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders • Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: • Deep expertise on international and domestic legal trends and issues through exposure to a wide range of projects • Communication and stakeholder management skills through working in multi-disciplinary teams • Understanding of the Singapore and global policy landscape on intelligence trends and issues, and engagement with decision-makers in related fields • Analytical skills unique to an intelligence organisation Requirements • At least 10-15 years' post-qualification experience in private/public legal practice, with team leadership experience preferred • Strong understanding of and experience in comparative, commercial, civil, administrative, or international law • Strong leadership and people management skills • Ability to anticipate risks that may impact SID • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
