You will be a key contributor to a broad spectrum of HR policies and implementation that aims to achieve SID’s vision as a ‘Choice Employer’. Responsibilities Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to devise, review and implement HR strategies and policies in one of the following domains - (i) Welfare Services and (ii) Discipline Welfare Services • Work with key stakeholders to design, review and drive policies and implementation relating to staff welfare and benefits, to ensure SID remain effective in promoting staff retention • Work with key stakeholders to devise and execute employee-related benefit schemes and payments (e.g., Leave, Medical) to meet SID’s intent of upholding staff morale • Run outplacement policies and processes to ease SID officers into their retirement years • Run awards nomination and ceremony to recognize outstanding or long serving officers Discipline • Work with key stakeholders to develop and review policies and frameworks relating to conduct and discipline to ensure the integrity and trust in the Public Service is being upheld • Run discipline cases and ensure the cases are managed fairly and objectively • Design, review and drive SID’s crisis management framework crisis and contingency management to ensure SID’s operational readiness and resilience during crisis If you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will need to: • Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team • Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind • Plan and guide your team’s professional growth, in both general and technical areas • Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders • Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: • A meaningful career and experience in enabling policies that make direct impact to the welfare and benefits of SID officers • Exposure to a wide range of perspectives and issues, and opportunities to work in a dynamic team to achieve a common goal • Good understanding of organisational needs • Strategic thinking, analytical, and interpersonal skills Requirements • Roles for fresh graduates and mid-careers available • Interest in tackling challenges at the organisation level • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment • Comfortable with data and with quantitative and qualitative analysis • Strong resource management skills • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to see the big picture and also a keen eye for detail • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence • Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
