Step 2 · The role

You will play a key role in strategising and managing SID’s relationships with Singapore government agencies and policy makers. Your work will ensure that SID builds good relationships with Singapore government agencies and policymakers, so that SID can deliver relevant and timely intelligence and insights to support policy-making. Responsibilities • Develop and implement strategies to engage government agencies and policymakers • Plan and operationalise SID's engagements with government agencies and policymakers • Monitor stakeholder needs and coordinate SID's responses to those needs • Establish and review SID's frameworks, policies and processes for stakeholder engagement • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders in the course of your work What you will gain: • Understanding of Singapore's policy landscape on global trends and issues that are important to Singapore • Understanding of the workings and considerations for how SID supports and works with the Singapore government • Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and various parts of the organisation to develop and implement strategies • Strategic thinking, analytical, operational, communication and stakeholder management skills Requirements • Roles for fresh graduates and mid-careers available. Experience working with the Singapore Public Service would be useful. • Ability to see big picture, and also have a keen eye for details • Ability to handle multiple work streams, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
