Step 2 · The role
Plan, manage, implement, and supervise development projects to realise the Greater Sentosa Master Plan. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on Master Plan development projects from project inception to handover. • Responsible for design management, project management and coordination throughout the entire project life-cycle. • Develop detailed implementation programme and strategy. • Develop project briefs, requirements, technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts. • Identify project interface issues and collaborate with all interfacing parties to develop effective mitigation measures. • Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures. • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and meet specified quality standards. • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead project teams. • Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to the relevant team members. • Facilitate and organise meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners. • Conduct regular site visits/inspections and report on quality and progress. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering • Minimum of 12 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry • Required to have design management and project management experience in large-scale multi-disciplinary engineering infrastructure projects, and have managed contracts with a value of at least S$100 million. • Demonstrated project management capabilities with proven ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams. • Familiarity with procurement processes, including tender evaluation, contract administration and working knowledge of PSSCOC. • Experience in marine and coastal projects and/or bridge projects would be an advantage. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders from diverse and non-technical backgrounds.
